Function of Beauty Launches in Target Stores

Its customizable hair care products become available in a retail environment for the first time.

For the first time ever, Function of Beauty’s customizable hair care products are available in a retail environment. The brand is launching exclusively at Target with a new concept, a new format, and a new ritual for meeting your hair care needs.
 
Initially thought to be too complex to shop offline, the brand designed a product and packaging system to bring customizable shampoo and conditioners in-store and make them available for Target’s guests to discover on retail shelves and in a unique experience on Target.com.
 
How it Works
 
Select one of four shampoo and conditioner bases (straight, wavy, curly, or coily). Then, select up to three #hairgoals (from 10 options). Each #hairgoal booster shot contains two hair goals, one for your shampoo and the other for your conditioner. Once at home, to complete your customization, follow these steps:
 

  1. Snap open your #hairgoal.
  2. Pour #hairgoal booster shot into your shampoo and conditioner one at a time.
  3. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.

  • Color Protection
  • Curl Definition
  • Thermal Protection
 
All Function of Beauty products are formulated with clean and quality ingredients that are at least 92% naturally derived. They are sulfate-free, paraben-free, vegan, and cruelty-free.
 
Function of Beauty will be available in-store nationally starting December 27, 2020, as well as shoppable on Target.com.
